Product Overview
KPV is the tripeptide Lys-Pro-Val, corresponding to the C-terminal fragment of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (alpha-MSH 11-13). It has been investigated in preclinical murine models of intestinal inflammation for anti-inflammatory activity and studied for signaling mechanisms partly independent of the melanocortin-1 receptor.
